more diff locking Q's (sorry guys)

hey up from over the pond..

looking into getting a mechanical locker for the rear of my truck (3.0l TD 2nd gen). With it being a JDM vehicle its an auto..do the lockers work ok on these (not having a clutch to press etc)

if your talking about a locker to lock both rear wheels to spin together, i wouldent see why not, just ask the company your getting the locker through (detroit, auburn, aussie..exct) and ask about the diesel tho,

cheers dude..probably be a detroit..aussie still aint finished their 4pin yet.

It is a DD, but not much more than the odd trip to the shops, and getting to our limited trails..

Auto-lockers (Aussie, Detroit etc) work better with automatic transmissions. If I feather the clutch around corners, my locker works smoother than with the clutch in all the way. Lockers like a little torque all the time to keep them smooth, automatics always provide that torque (without having to feather the clutch).
