Modded door chime
Hey everyone, I'm new here.
As we all know, the door buzzer is not a pleasant sound. What I want to do is have an arduino board turn on when the door is open (with the key in) and turn off when the key is out, just like the normal buzzer. All I need is to find a wire that is only live when the buzzer would go off, I've wired the arduino with a simple relay that switches it on at any voltage.
Now I'm not too sure what I'd wire it up to, is there something inside the buzzer relay I can just solder the relay to? Or would it be easier to use a fuse tap on something that only comes on when the key is in, then just make another switch for the door?

Pretty sure it's that little connector, pin 9 or 10 that gets switched when the key is in place.
monitor, door courtesy switch, tail lamps and seat belt switch's based on your preference.

Thank you for the help, I'll make an updated thread showing off the new chime when it gets done
