Missing "gremlin" 1990 3VZE is misfiring
Sorry to beat a dead horse, but this is driving me nuts. 1990 3VZE is misfiring, or "skipping" It didn't start till I cleaned the engine. I will add that it was not immediately after the cleaning, but several days later. Checked the distributor for water, none there, checked all the plug wires, all were connected. Checked for vac leaks, didn't find any, Checked, and cleaned EGR replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, air and fuel filter (yea I twisted the front line off, waiting on a replacement) Plug wires are on the way.
Ran fine after the initial cleaning, did a little more cleaning and it still ran fine. Did a little more cleaning, skipping like a p-thrasher. Any Ideas??? When I bought the truck, had lots of gunk all over the engine, and under carriage, ran like a champ. I checked the compression on all the cylinders, all were in the 160-165 range, all the plugs are getting fire. I'm lost.....
On a side note, does anyone know where to get a replacement fuel line, the one from the filter to the engine. prefer a new one, but will go with a PYP one from a junkyard, in hopes of not ruining the line when removing it. Is there anything I can check while I've got it down?

I think the part you need is one of the 77251B shown on this page: http://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/show...rimLevel=18292 (It depends on your model; the distance from the fuel tank to the engine depends on bed length, etc.)
About $40.
