Misc. Wire underhood

Whats up yota peeps. I recently purchsed a 95 4runner, auto trans, V6, 4x4. Im new to these motors and this generation of yota. The vehicle has arou d 200K miles, but it has a 30K pallet motor installed. Within 5K of installing the motor it was parked and sat a year. Its got an OD issue that ive read a ton of info on, thats not why im posting. Under the hood i found a wire, it was extended and it plugs into nothing. Im not sure where it is supposed to go. I took a pic and hopefully can post it. Anyone got any ideas of where to start? The factory wire is Blk/wht and comes out of the harness right under the engine lifting hook. The purple is the extension.

The black and white looks like it could be to the air conditioner compressor switch.

That could be. The compressor isnt hooked up at all. Matter of fact its held in place with zip ties. Haven't got to that part of the project yet. I'll have to check and see if its already got a wire going to it. If not, its probably this one. Thanks for the response.

No problem. Remember that it won't kick on if there's no pressure in it.
