Master Cylinder Part Question (pic)

So I will be replacing my master cylinder and brake booster soon. I have a 1986 1/2 ton Base model pickup. Most parts just show generic photos of their items not necessarily for the truck. So I'm wondering if this piece (circled) will be supplied with the master cylinder, or if I need to order this separately.

Update: I replaced both front calipers, main master cylinder (bench bled), and brake booster fully bled the system, and still having braking issues, I'd like to replace this lower proportioning valve, does anyone know an aftermarket supplier or original OEM number for this? Been searching with no luck.

Thanks in advance.

Proportioning valve, it controls fluid pressure between the front and rear brakes. If it's not leaking or malfunctioning, there should be no need to replace it.

I would have thought so too, but I've seen other trucks with this same double component setup as me...weird. I'm now wanting to replace this separate valve and can't find an aftermarket one. Anyone have any leads?

No such thing as aftermarket for this part, if there is nothing wrong with it why replace it? But hey, it's your money, oh and BTW, all vehicles have this valve, it ain't nothin new. The part is around $180 at the dealer so you might want to rethink replacing things that you don't even know what it's there for.
