I'm having trouble with the air flow meter. Truck fires fine but then dies out quick. If I hole the door of the air flow meter open it runs fine. Any idea what would cause it to malfunction? From what I'm reading people say they don't really go bad. 91 3.0 v6

Sounds like it's bad. UNLESS, the top has been opened and messed with. If it just started to have these symptoms I doubt it's an adjustment issue. Was the plug pulled out?

Ues the FSM to test the resistance of the various circuits through the connector.

Regular users cannot delete posts (except maybe in the classifieds section? Not sure...). You used to be able to delete your own posts as some very old threads indicate some posts that have been deleted by that user.
