man trans movement?

Hello i have a 92 yots 2wd shortbed pickup. with 22re with 5spd. And the shifter moves to the right alot when i give it alot of gas in 1st etc. like 3+ inches moving. any ideas on what it could be im guessing motor mounts as the most likly thing.

its that little bushing that's worn out, mine moves like that, has for a long time.

it's the tranny and engine mounts flexing under power.

3+ inches sounds more a broken transmission or engine mount. None of the Toyota trucks I have driven ever flexed that much.

my 5 speed will move but not more than say .5-an 1" TOPS

i concure about a broken mount someplace

my 85 with the 22re towing 5,000lbs didn't even flex that much
