Machine shop recommendation
Can anyone recommend a good automotive machine shop in the Orange County area of SoCal, based on past experience?
I'll need: bore/deck block (w/MLS hg), possible crank regrind, rebuild head (OS valves, light port cleanup possible), hot tank/clean everything.
There are plenty in the phone book, but I don't know any of their work and I want things done right the first time, no f-ups.
Thanks

From some other threads here I figured it would be a good idea to just call my local Toyota dealer and ask what shop they use. So I did and that's who I'm using for my rebuild project.

cadman, I recently did the HG job on my 93 3vze and took the heads to Valenzuela Machine on Batavia in Orange. Francisco is very familiar with the 3vze and he surfaced, pressure checked, did a valve job and fully cleaned everything up for $300.
Another local machine shop that was recommended by someone was too busy but they also referred me to Valenzuela. Valenzuela also pressed some bearings onto the axles in my Nova a while back and did a great job on that one too.
