M/T & transfer fluid capacity
***EDIT : I found it in the FSM after all. Admin please delete or I will post what it is below and leave for anyone searching in the future****
I'm planning on draining my transmission and transfer of their current fluid and replacing them with Redline MT-90 this weekend. I'm wondering how much I need to order from Amazon. Will 1 gallon be enough to fill both? I consulted with the FSM but to no avail. Thanks guys.
***EDIT : Manual Transmission : W56 4WD Capacity: 3.0 Liters (3.2 US Quarts)
Transfer : W56 Capacity : 1.6 Liters (1.7 US Quarts) ***

Just swapped my 87 trans and transfer case. Took 5 quarts exactley.
1 gallon and 1 quart.
Dont know why you guys spend all that money on redline. Gear oil is gear oil.
In my opinion. Now if we ran endurance races at sustained high rpms...Id consider it. Toss in the cheap stuff and change it once a year.
