Best way to lower it, would be to get a 2wd toyota pickup chassis.
But then, you would lose 4wd.
Good luck, not many people have lowered them, but i would love a lowered 1st gen 4runner to go cruising in, kinda like a 70's blazer 2wd.... sweet trucks...

If I was in the city, and there were no trails within a 30 minute radius, I'd have dropped mine.

Ok, if anyone took this to mean I seriously think he should kill himself, let me clear that up. :pat:

I personally found it rather funny to read 2 pages of negative comments about it.

I knew you didn't actually MEAN it (at least, I think you didn't actually mean it...). But you never know, the guy just might take you seriously. Although, you'd think with the banner at the top of the page saying, "The OFF ROAD Adventure Begins Here" he'd figure we wouldn't have too many good things to say about slamming a 4x4...

Well it was probably a little inappropriate for public forum. Tone is often hard to interpret via keyboards.

kill yourself.
X2 theres something wrong with you. You were dropped as a baby. Thats for sure.

Lowering... you can't, they only go up. But you have definitely lowered yourself by even thinking about it.
