What kind of noise??

Bad bearing don`t howl more like a grinding or growling noise.

What kind of tires and size sometimes depending on the road surface they can really scream!!

When did this start??

Lets see it howls at highway speed correct?

If you swerve to the left and right at highway speed does the noise stop in one direction?

I have had rear wheel bearings howl after sitting a while (year +) they get rust built up on the rollers. And swerving back and forth you can figure out what side it is. If you wheel in mud a lot it never fails you will get water and mud where it does not belong.

So that is my bet the next thing would be a pinion bearing
Do you have fluid leakage?

My rear gears howl @ highway speeds due to the PO not installing & setting up the rear end correctly. But we do need more info.!

Tires are a very mild all terrain that should be the problem.

No fluid leakage but I've only had the truck for a week so I'm still feeling ole girl out
