my truck has a 3 inch body lift and the motor is really loud it overpowers my exhaust is ther somthing i can do to fix this?

 

Exhaust leak? Rod knock? What kind of noise is it?

 

you mean the fan noise? Its pretty normal with stock exaust. To fix add a nice sounding muffler. Alittle preformance depending on which you decide, and a little or alot louder sounding exaust note will dround out the fan noise.

 

its just the engine and its super loud.

 

Probably a cracked exhaust manifold.. the reason you think your engine is louder than your exhaust is because the gases arnt making it back to your muffler.. Id check your manifold for a crack, broken off bolt.. anything thats unsealed it. Also, check your exhaust pipe from your cat up to the engine.. might have but a crack in it in a place that makes it sound like the engine. Smell and fumes? If the exhaust were leaking out before the cat, you should notice a foul oder from the area.
