Angry Loping 22re

Engine starts fine and fast idles at 2500 rpm , then when the idle kicks down it will start to lope from (800-1000 rpm) and then it runs rough through all ranges of speed. I have adjusted the TPS and everything checks out on it.I can't find any vacuum leaks, and I am not getting any codes.I plugged off the IAC and that just made it worse.
This truck is kicking my butt.

Sounds like your idle is set to high. The ECU will do that if it comes out of closed loop and the idle it to high. Make sure your plastic intake tube is clamped tight as well.

I adjusted the Idle , timing and the TPS. It got better but was stil loping. I gave up and took it to dealer. They hooked it up to analyzer and found out the vacuum lines on the damn EGR were backwards.
Glad to have that over with.

i have a 1989 toyota truck 22re it is running very bad at idle loping and stalling when take off. I have changed the tps, distributor, plugs wires rotor button and egr valve. Tried a known good afm, I have unhooked exhaust to eliminate it the only thing I noticed is that my egr vavle even after running for a while does not get hot could I have a stopped up passage going into my head causing the issues. It is running so bad that i Can not even drive when I shift to second it just dies and I cant hardly get up enugh rpms to even need to shift. Any advice would help thanks in advance
