you might want to study that linked page a bit more, so that you can determine what the line drawings are showing on a real engine. the top diagram CLEARLY shows the a/c idle up control (actuator) or in toyota-speak - diaphragm sub-assembly, idle-up actuator

ok I see it now. I got confused about the air cleaner line. The reason for the thread was to figure out what that part is and also if my lines were connected correctly. I found that they are connected right. I also seen that the air cleaner line it refers to goes up and under the intake manifold, that is what I was confused on about the diagram. Anyways thank you all for the good help and references, I do appreciate it a lot.
