Looking for front skid plate help....

When I did my 4" lift I also wanted a winch...but didn't want to go with a big bumper in order to fit it. I also didn't like the idea the winch would be hanging out there all the time. So I went with the warn front receiver mount. The problem is that I haven't been able to find a skid plate that will work with the front receiver. So....I'm hoping that someone here has an idea...

you could modify the stock one to bolt into the bottom of the reviever hitch. I cant think of any skids available that dont come up that high...

where did you get the front reciever from? and how bad was the install? I was thinking about doing it myself, but I dont know how much drilling I want to do on the frame...

The receiver hitch mount is from Warn. I had Performance 4 Wheel put it on. It's a clean install and works great. The winch sits clean in the garage. The other benefit is that I can put the winch on the back. That was a huge plus too. It just requires getting the plug and play kit by Warn.

I bet Budbuilt could make you one - would just have to lower the front attachment points to go into the Warn piece instead of the crossmember

I've been wanting to do that as i figutr it would cost less than a bumper. How much was the frobnt hitch install? What entire cost of the mod?

The receiver mount was $180. Multi Mount Kit $185 Kit cable, w Intrpt $140 Kit cable for rear $40 and rear cable $55.00. I think it's in that order. It was $162 to install.
