Looking for an 88-92 3vze distributor plug wire diagram

in the plug of the 88-92 of the 3vze what is each of the wires? which one is ground and signal, hot, etc. I have the 93-95 wire diagram, just need the 88-92. trying to help a friend out. I cant seem to find it on bing or google.

Big difference between 88 and 92.

just what are you trying to figure out Since the harness runs to the ECU

im trying to test a 90 3vze distributor per the fsm. I have the 93 fsm test for the distributor. the 93-95 distributor plug is different than the 88-92 plug. im trying to figure out what wires to test. in what order etc etc.

the 93-95 plug is a single row of 4 wires
the 88-92 plug is a double row of 2 wires.

hence my confusion

are the colors the same? IE 1991 white red
yellow green

Yes I am. They FSM I have covers the 93-95 distributors. The wire colors do not match up or the plug configuration. I'm am looking for the correct testing procedure and wire color designation

OK. As soon as I can find my fsm I'll take a pic of the diag and post. Be advised, Iv'e cleaned up and have no idea where it is....

try this...looking at the dist plug up left G1...up rt NE.....Low left G2...Low rt G neg
Test...G to G neg...205 to 255 ohm
test...G2 to G neg...205 to 255 ohm
test...NE to G neg...205 to 255 ohm
if not, replace dist housing.. hope this helps

I believe you may be wrong there. From what I've gathered the wire colors should be as follows.

NE
G1
G-
G2

Well, I have unplugged the connector and staring at it as it heads out towards the dist, I have; G1 red NE white G2 green G- yellow
