I would check into Blazeland kit before total chaos, Better bang for the buck (imo) ,and he is fellow yotatech member. Those who build together fix together.

some 62 inch deavers would be good if your on somewhat of a budget. and it would be a good match for a TC kit that isnt pulling crazy wheel travel. Your front end wouldnt keep up if you had a 4 link. Plus when you link it you are going to need bypasses. just coilovers are going to overheat and fade. Oh and Peow130: There is no reason why a triangulated 3link should be moving side to side, unless your triangulated link has rubber bushings in it that are going to have a lot of deflection....what i am getting at is you dont know what your talking about.

Leaf over axle (i.e. stock 1st gen, all 4wd trucks) would droop just as well, and have about 3-4" more lift.

But it's a 90 with coils we're talking about.

So, 90runnerfan- the TC LT kit will push your front wheels wide, about 3" wider over stock on each side. You might consider a T100 rear axle to keep the rear track width similar to the front. Sorry I can't help you much beyond that though.
Lots of prerunners do Spring Under Axle to eliminate wheel hop and you can get more spring without over lifting the truck, if he's going long travel meant for high speeds, not to crawl, then SUA is ideal. If he wants it to be just a general wheeler than he should probably go SOA to avoid beating expensive springs up.
