a little help please... where is the ac compressor located at.. pics inside

ok yotatechs... never saw an ac compressor so i dont have a clue on how it looks like... i just bought a 1992 toyota pickup v6 4wd... the owner i bought it from had a rebuilt motor put in... when i was test driving the car in the heat i turned the a/c on... nothing but hot air... was told that it needs to be recharged... called around got qoutes around 200 bucks... he also told me that if recharge fails he will pay to get it fix... he puts it on paper and signs it... the seller was a co worker... but yea... back to the compressor... is there a way to see if the compressor works or not? and where is the inlet to rechage it.. im not doing the recharge... just wondering where things are... heres the pics...

it will be great if someone can use microsoft paint to circle the compressor and inlet where you charge it...

Sorry, not seeing the inlet to charge real clearly on the other picture. It will be on the passenger side of the engine bay, so take a closer picture over there.

jcfb has it. Look for a schrader valve on top, left hand side. thats where it gets recharged.

My local dealer was not worried about this. Their retrofit was only to flush out the old system, change the fittings, and pump in R134a. Haven't done the mod yet though.
