Little fan???
I have seen a small electric fan on the left side behind the grill on my radiator of my 95 4Runner, and was wondering if anybody knows what it is? I tried looking for it the repair manuals, Ive asked at part stores, but no luck. No one seens to know what its for. So If anyone can tell me what its for, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Is there a way to test it to check if it is working correctly? Are there any consaquences(Spelling) of running it with the messed up?

Yes, run some wires straight from the battery to the fan. If it's working it will spin. Watch your fingers
FYI there are 2 relays in the circuit as well, if the fan is working with direct power but not with the AC then one of them could be bad. They are labelled in the wiring diagram as AC condenser fan relay #1 and #2, both in the relay block on right side of the engine compartment.

The only thing that will happen if it doesnt work propelly is your A/C wont be as cold when your not moving (i.e. at a stop light), condensers require lots of airflow to work well, hence the fan.
