line-x, herculiner, or flat black

Well, the paint on my 4runner is starting to take a turn for the worse. Their is a big spot on the hood where the clearcoat is coming off, and their is some rust on the bottom of the rear passenger door. I want to do something about these areas, and i want to do it black. The spot on the hood is on the little raised part that the 2nd gens have. I was debated the idea of puttin on a mustang hood scoop and getting that raised part either line-xd, doing herculiner, or getting it painted flat black. I was also thinking about doing the sides, from the crease on the lower part down to the bottom the same. How do you guys think it would look? Can anyone photoshop it for me? If so, I would be greatly appreciated. I'll paypal 5 bucks to whoever can photoshop it the best as just a little incentive. Let me know if you want a different picture, the hood is kinda hard to see from these angles. Ooo, and i also just ordered some cragar soft 8s so if you want to go crazy, make the rims black as well.

Edit: Here is a worse picture, but you can make out the hood better.

actually that ain't too far off from what I wanted. The black on the doors needs to come down though. if you look in the original pictures, see the ident/crease thing kinda at the bottom of the door? it goes all the way back to the rear of the 4runner. From there down is what I want to be black. The hood looks real good though.

Oh, that crease. I thought you meant the body line right under the windows!

I will re-do it and post it up but I just have to step out of the house for a few mins

Hmmm, the rear bumper and the door handles. I think that should just about do it. Is there anyway you can make the black you put on the truck just a little bit lighter? Sorry for bein so greedy man, I just want to see how its gonna look before I get it done. What do you think about it? You sure man, if you want it its no problem.

can you do one with the front bumper done too, but with the hood still white? I just asked my dad what he thinks and he thinks that the hood is ugly.

Kyle -

I went with Line-X on my hood and I'm happy with the results. I brought it to them prepped (sanded, primed, wiped) and they did it for $125 cash.

This is the thread if you're interested.
