the limits of your truck

bone stock, except for some 31 goodyear wrangler mtrs, ive been through multiple puddles with water to the headlights. pulled out many vehicles... some of which well out weigh my toyota. Jumped it a couple of times. Taken fire roads much faster then i should have. I've climbed some pretty steep hills. No problems until now when i went to replace the steering spindal bearing and notice my hub was blown and another delight to find the axle was broken.

when my 4runner was ifs i was running 33s and dual lockers the limits were that i went through 3 sets of cv boots and broke a torsion bar mount while running the mud pit at hollister. Now with chevy axles i havent broken anything but will keep posted

I feel your pain. Except mine doesn't mind as long as I spend time wrenching on her Isuzu & we're pretty much broke at the moment. So add those two together & I have zero time to wrench on my own stuff & no money to do it even if I did lol

i had an 83 tercel as my first car... over 300 000 on it... the front struts were broken through the body at the top and would bump into the hood if I hit bumps too hard.... and when I jacked it up the axle would just droop till the brake line grabbed. i jumped it 25 feet over a logging road and kept driving it for about 1.5 years, rallied it in the snow at the costco parking lot , bounced off of snowbanks going 150km/h as it shook till my cheeks wobbled.... AND I STILL SEE IT driving around!!!!!!!!!!

Up until this point, my truck has only been limited by my pucker meter.
I am very confident that I have taken this truck nowhere near it's limits.
And as Isaac alluded to, there's only so much damage I am willing to inflict on my daily driver. If it was a trail rig, it may be a different story.

My 81 pickup, blew a clutch out my 1st time ever mudding. Have put the thing under water where I was standing on the hood and water was touching my feet, yes it was still running. I rolled it, look at avatar, flipped it back over and drove it home no prob. No problems yet,Let you know when I hurt it bad.

My truck, in its current state, has never been stuck. I've had it buried axle deep in the closest thing to quicksand I've ever seen. I've had it through puddles up to my headlights and it still made it through. I have not pushed this thing to its limit yet, but you guys will be the first to know when I do

She lets me spend some money..but not nearly as much or as fast as I would like. It would be nice to have it done for this summer
