The time I flipped it, Just got done with the motor job, bored out,Offenhauser intake, holly 450 big cam. Gonna go mudding the next day, took for test drive around the block, looked at the FLAT field, decided to go in it real quick, have a welded rear and locker in front, was in 2wd and I punched it.Well the newly built motor had a lot more torque and it went sideways and and started to roll.

My toyota's main limit is its inability to attract hot redneck southern ohio women. To get the girls around here you need a one-ton diesel or big-block Chevy. Hmmmm....other limits: my Toyota's driver(me) seems to constantly believe that IFS is stronger than it really is, so therefore I pop a lot of CV's. I also haul pintle trailers that weigh more than the truck from time to time.....damn the size of this tacoma is it's biggest limit, did I mention one would never be-able to get a bigger woman in the cab(hey I like big woman) The other limits would include how the cheap friggin' sheetmetal rusts like I spilled acid all over it.....ohh here's another the stock alternator is a puny 70 amp; when I key up my CB radio the lights dim and the motor stalls out, my toyota is seriously 1/2 the truck of a 3/4 Dodge Diesel, has a tiny 4 cylinder motor with no power but still manages to get the same dam gas mileage as a new Diesel, I can barely get a sheet of plywood let alone drywall in it's tiny excuse for a bed, my cb speaker sounds better than the stock toyota speakers, the rear axle seals leak which ruined my rear drums which ruined my rear brakes which means I only have front brakes, the diff breather stock isn't nearly tall enough, the cable tailgate straps break every couple months, I hate it when my "bigger" aka heavier friends stand on my tailgate at bonfires because it bends a little more everytime. The stock leafsprings cracked and I've just left them that way, my rack-and-pinion steering is going to cost half a thousand dollars to fix when I destroy it, so rather than fix it when it breaks I'm throwing in a d44...did I mention the IFS was a limit??? How about my bumper being covered in stickers causing every city kitty cop in podunk america to do a u-turn and pull me over, The list goes on and on about the limits of my toyota I don't have the time to list'm all.

.....

Now where's that thread about toyota's limitless possibilities?

The place I normally go is a huge event that is made to tear it up, private land made into a big pit with a front end loader to pull you out.See the chain link fence in the background? I have never torn up any trails, the field was used for parking on the weekends for a bar in the middle of my city, 1 block from my old work.

That you admittedly were driving drunk when you rolled it caused everything to be brought into question ...

Yea, I exaggerated a little bit, Yes there was drinking, but there was quite a few people at the shop working on the truck, And I really wouldn't drive either one of my trucks drunk, was a stupid excuse for being embarrassed for rolling in a flat field. sorry

Or you can tell me how you took your solid axle yota and shatterd your ring and pinion on the first hill you tried, and you were only running 31" A/T's. Or anything in between.. Good luck, and if any body ever talks trash about you not having a bunch of mods, just say, I dont need mods I wheel a toyota
Owned my '88 junk for over 15 years now and the only major problem was a blown head gasket (22RE) about a year or two ago. Has about 190,XXX miles on it.
The original alternator finally wore out a year ago also, and I replaced the radiator when I fixed the head gasket.

(And I've gotten a few dents here and there)

my 88 has never left me stranded, I have knocked over small trees, cars, people, no problems...

but one time I ran down one of the street closed signs, the dammn thing busted through the wheel well, push bettween the fender and hood, was poped out 4" out of the hood.
was a huge PITA to get removed, then I had to splice a few wires together to get it to start and drive it home.

My toy has more time air time than Delta! The bad thing is we have two Mustang GT's, one of them is a ragtop, and I still like driving my hail damaged, tree beaten, no a/c havin Toy!

Ummm Can you say 38 grooved boggers with a heavy right foot and a quick left foot? transfercases, trans, clutches, drivelines and axles, 3rds you name it. But what other vehicle will take the amount of abuse before the breaking point?
