license plate light wiring
I think something happened to the wires on my license plate lights (I dont really know how), because I put in new bulbs and they still wont light up. ISince I dont want to get pulled over by Officer McFriendly anytime soon, where is the fuse/relay/wire for the license plate light located?

They are on the same curcuit as the tail lights, dash lights and side markers. If these are still working then the fuse is ok.
Could be the wires between the license plate and the body.

A bad ground is also common. Use a test light to check the socket to see if there is power to it first. If there is then the problem is with the light or the way it is sitting in the socket. If there is no power, use the test light as a ground wire. Clip it to something that is clean or known to be a good ground for something else and place the tip on the ground side of the circuit. If the bulb lights up then it's definately a bad ground.
