V8 is a 1UZ-FE from a Gen 1 UCF10 LS400 or Gen 1 UZZ30 SC400

I would love to do this swap....
But I am finding the 3.4L to be quiet effective at the momment...
Great looking setup though
And it has been done, oh how I envee those who have done it...

I don't think there's enoyugh room under the hood for a 427 Hemi.

IT would be killer, though!

I was gonna say, isn't that twistys truck in that vid? Engine swaps are some of the coolest mods, IMO, just because it makes for sort of a "sleeper". Like, if you were to see a 1st gen stock suspension and wheels, but had a 3.4 swapped, dual cases and f/r lockers...Or better than that, one of those V-8's...dang.

:sigh: How sweet it would be...
But with the right set-up in exhaust
I am sure you could achieve the same sound?

Here's Twisty's thread https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f161/my-lexus-v8-into-2nd-gen-4runner-conversion-76701/

Here's Cebby's thread, I think he is delayed: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f161/1uzfe-swap-into-2nd-gen-4runner-54771/
