I have a project car (95 GSX). During the motor/trans rebuild it sat for a good year outside with gas in it. When the motor was back together the car fired up fine and it ran a little rough but only when I would boost it. I ran it like that until it was low on gas, threw some Heet in it, then filled it again with 93.

So yea, as everyone has posted already, you should be fine.

Better start driving now Ricky if you are gonna make it to FLA!

Don't forget to grab the brake booster while you are there!

You're like the overprotective mother that needs an update call from her child every 30 minutes when he/she goes to dinner

Your truck will be fine. If you let it sit for a month or two you should start worrying about tending the battery. 3 months or more, start worrying about your oil. More than that is when your gas will start going stale

Bleeder, It will be ok, I might have to head down to Fl. Cassellberry to be exact to pick up a truck!!!!! I will keep it safe and sound for ya!!!! Just kidding man, hey if you are worried about the battery, get a solar trickle charger to hook to it, so if it gets low it will charge. Gas dont woryy about it, it takes about month or longer from what I understand for the Ethanol to start seperating from the gasoline., and its not the ethenol that will corrode the tank, its the moisture ethanol attracts into the fuel, however ethanol will eat rubber lines not designed for it.

gees man, cut the umbilical cord already! a week is NOTHING. like said before, you could let her sit for 6 months to a year and she'll most likely start up on the first try- it's a Yota, not a Ford!
