lets talk about tune ups
Ok so gonna give the ol girl a tuneup in the am. And i was figuring on using BWD wires, cap, and rotor and standard copper core ngks. already did the air and fuel today. Are there any other plugs and such that may be better as i never had any luck with those performance plugs and the wires are stock 7mm are these good choises for a 88 model pickup 22re thanks. Adjusting valves certainly will make it sound and run better. 22re performance sells a good set of wires for cheap. Check belts, hoses, maybe have valve cover gasket handy incase the old one is brittle. Also the o-ring for the distributor can fall apart when you take the cap off.
Check all your fluids if that hasn't been done in recent memory (diffs, t-case- transmission etc)
Curious what other people do for their tune-ups. Air filter?
