As of late anytime I press the brake pedal where my brake lights would come on obviously, my left blinker also comes on solid as well.

If I turn the left blinker on and press the brake pedal it blinks but it still stays on solid, the blink just blinks slightly brighter. If I turn the right blinker on with the brake lights, the left blinker stays on solid with the brake lights, and the right blinker blinks like normal.


Any thoughts?

 

you must have wiring that was mixed up, or something like that.

 

had any work done recently?

 

Do you have a trailer wire adapter? If so, that is probaly the culprit.
If there is no adapter for a traier harnes, check the taillight sockets and plugs. they have a habit of rusting out.

 

Haven't had any work done recently - at least nothing that would be related to wiring. I will check my trailer light harness tonight (4 pin).

 

Check for a bad ground at the taillight.
Also sometimes the elements in the bulb will touch and cause a feed back making another light come on.
