i have a 94 4 runner with manual trans... it has a real slow leak on the passenger side... where two wires go into the transmission... what is this for?? and how do i stop the leak... i assume i need a ne gasket or something for the plug... but i wouldnt even know what to look for without knowing what this is. maybe its actually in the t case... didnt look at it long

 

Reverse light switch more than likely. Been a while since I had one out but it's probably got a crush washer on it like a drain plug would have. Quick and easy to replace.

 

Cool thanks. I figured it would be an easy fix... just wasnt sure what type of seal or washer i was dealing with.
