I like blocks from the cost standpoint, but not from the fact that my leafs are flat as it is, they need some new spring to them.

Mine are pretty flat too, I guess they just bend the other way...

Do the ZUK coil mod. Research it here if you haven't already. Everyone loves it, it's easy and it's cheap and way better than blocks

OK, ordered 14" 100lb coils, should I replace the shocks while I am at it?
I have never replaced them and I have had the truck for the better part of 5.5 years.
Albeit, it sat most of those years.

If the shocks are worn then I'd replace them, having said that I still have not replaced mine though.

I think you'll do fine with the 14" 100lb coils I went with the 14" 125lb ones on my runner (if I recall correctly) and gained a little lift over stock when it was all said and done. You may end up a little higher in the rear than the front but I don't think it will be much.

Be sure and take before and after photos.

Hm, I might just do it for the sake of doing it.

I was looking at some Bilsteins, LCE has 10, 12, and 14", but quite frankly, I have no idea what I need for mostly stock ride height, and I am being lazy right now cause I am at work and do not have time to go looking for info again...

i would just do the 2 inch leafs first and see how they settle. you might not even need the BJ spacers. I have 2"downey springs in my trail rig and they settled back to stock height. but they flex like theres no tomorrow.

That's what's confusing me...

I thought the OP wanted to get his ride back to level again, now we're looking at BJ spacers and Bil$tine shocks...

OP, you shouldn't get any ***lift*** with a coil spring pushing a saggy spring back in stock locations with stock geometry...

Get 2" lift springs or longer shackles to match the BJ spacer front...

But if you only want to get it back to level, don't do any of that and just replace the springs... Or builds you a custom spring pack...

Ah. Don't mind me. I was just trying to outline my options to myself.
For now, I am just going to ZUK mod it and see where I stand. Probably start saving up for a SAS and 2" lift overall.

then you'll have to use stock springs b/c the weld on piece lifts it that much...

Most guys get about 6" of lift from a 4" kit and wonder how they got that much.

Sucks for me b/c I want the least amount of lift possible...

Just got my springs... I am excited, I want to bounce on them like MoonShoes! (but I would just hurt myself.)

Now I am wondering if I should have just gotten shocks for the front while I was at it.

Talking

ZUK, you Sir are an awesome person, thank you.

Now for the pictures.

The "Before"

9" from fender to the top of the (16") wheel.

There was a bit of concern for my brother and I when I let the axle hang, only 11" of clearance; springs needed a pep talk.
Ended up pulling the shocks and shackles to get the extra space.

Going for the Weld version of this. Left are the bottom mounts, right is the top.

Just for the sake of it, the bump stops are welded on extremely well.

Everything in place.

The "After"! Three inches added in there. I am glad I went with the 14"/100lb springs.

And just because I love my truck.
