Like any other vendor some love them some hate them.

I myself have not bought from them in years maybe things have changed due to competition there prices in a niche market were very high based on supply and demand .

Good luck on your engine build.

About a year ago I made a few orders with them, and everything seemed of great/expected quality.

They are a bit pricier than average I think, but chalk up a 5 star review from me

There are cheaper ways to assemble a rebuild kit, but sometimes it's nice just to have everything clearly packaged together.

Anybody in the Los Angeles area that needs/wants LCE headers or their fuel pressure gauge, hit me up. Stuff is in great condition, I just don't need the stuff anymore since swapping to turbodiesel

what about this kit?
http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...ek-toyota.html

I like that it comes with Wiseco pistons, MLS gaskets, but i have never heard of TOGA bearings and unknown timing belt.

I do plan on boosting this engine with a custom M90 blower

I bought my headers from them last year and it fits and runs great. Nice precision cuts due to CNC machines compared to the one it replaced which looked like it was cut with a jig saw then filed (but not bad for a 22 year old header I bought from Northwest Offroad Specialties back in 1993). I bought gaskets and a timing chain kit from 22REPerformance.

Lce sucks

NO...They suck...Dropped a deposit beginning of oct for a $7650 engine, told it would be early March, but when that came around they are now saying 14 to 16 more weeks..Thats 3 1/2 to 4 more months....This after I have purchased 3 other engines from them since 1999 and thousands $ in parts....My last $7,000 engine came with the bolt that goes through the head into the timing chain cover was STRIPPED and instead of removing the head and installing a thread insert, they just blobbed on some RTV and shoved the bolt back in the hole...Thats on a $7000 engine!! They where once good but it seems when Wes left they went down hill....Anyone else have problems with them??

Product wise they are good but shop around. Was looking at their double row cam timing gear but shipping kills the deal.

Yota1 has same replacement dual timing chain set for $15 less then LCE and better service...LCE is forcing me to file a consumer complaint with the AZ attorney general cause they wont refund my deposit of $250 after lying about when I would get engine...Many have problems with them...they only get 2.7 stars on Yelp and 3.8 on google reviews..Thats bad...And they dont post negative reviews on their website misleading the consumer...
