so me and a couple buddies bolted a couch into the back of my truck and drove anround town today lol. we didnt come across any barneys so im not sure if its illegal. theres 2 seatbelts and a cupholders. yes it is oakey rigged and no i dont expect to get away with it. is it legal?

depends on your state laws I know in Idaho you can ride in the back of a truck! Used to do it all the time back in the day

Depends where you live, but most likely not But since you live in the Boonies, you can do a lot of stuff and get away with it! I used to live in a town with no police station. The nearest trooper station was 17 miles away. a few years ago before I could drive, one of my older buddies bolted the rear seat from a 4runner in the bed of his '88. Its so much fun! lol...

ya my town has maybe 3 cops. all of them grew up here and they know whta its like lol yes its definatley fun! got lots of laughs and a few honks from passing traffic

should be legal as long as all the seat belts in the truck are being used...your cab must be full before people can ride in the back
