Last year of the 22RE in 4X4??
What was the last year that Toyota put the 22RE in a 4X4? These trucks with that engine are the best and want to know what years they were available?

I'm not 100% certain, but I think there was a half year release in94-95 with the 22re.... but 1994 for sure-- I had one and rebuilt the bottom half with only 88000 on it.

Yep, they used it up until 1995.0 in the trucks. The 1995.5 trucks were tacomas.

I have a 1995 and remember how pissed I was when the 95.5 truck were a new model...
