Knocking noise

I have a 1988 22re pickup, got it for cheap with a blown head gasket, I replaced the head gasket and fired her up only to hear this.

Let me know if you guys have heard this before. It's sitting right now but I'd like to get it on the road sometime soon. I can't tell if it is on the bottom or top end.

a mechanics stethoscope would help to isolate the location of the sound.

if the valve cover is on too tight it can make noise... are the valves adjusted correctly?

It's hard to tell from the video but it sounds like it's somthing in the valve train and maybe with the timing chain.

Sounds like a rod knock I had in a 22re.

Timing chain is typically a much "faster" sound, more of a rattle.
