i am putting a new engine in my 4runner, right now i am just transfering everying from the old engine to the new. but i am stuck on the knock sensor wire, under the fuel manifold. where does it plug into or where should it run to?

It is left of the oil filter if your engine is a 22RE

 

oops my bad im sorry, i should have listed that my engine is the 3vz the 3.0

 

It plugs into the harness that comes from the passenger side to the front (top) of the engine and then to the distributor, alt, tps, knock sensor and injectotrs, etc...
