Then check the ignition timing. If that's fine, check compression. If the compression is excessively high, try running a higher octane. If it is high, and it hasn't been built to be that way, you have other problems that higher octane fuel wouldn't really fix, but it might help the symptom.

One suggestion, please read and edit your posts before submitting. I could barely make any sense of the above description.

Carbon build up on pistons would not have anything to do with the knock sensor or every car in the world would have that issue. Generaly with the knock sensor code the knock sensor is bad. Check the wires. And generaly when it goes bad the timing is retarded a bit causing performance issues and low power.

Karma schmarma. This is not a reward/punishment universe despite what religion teaches. But, it is based on law of attraction. LOA isn't partial, but it's fair and matches you up everytime with where you're at.

My suggestion? Run a search on knock sensor. Lots and lots and lots of posts about it already. Also, might get clear on taking advantage of gullible people.....though he did attract it. There are no victims. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

No sir.....wudn't sayin' that at'all. But, religous or not, we're still in a society where reward/punishment is a common mindset. The term/idea of karma just seems to bleed over into everything, so I figured I'd nip it in the bud. Try to offset the insanely flawed premise....if you know what I mean.

If you don't know what code it is, how do you know it's for the knock sensor?

Well, you need to find the code to get any help here.... its hard enough to diagnose from a distance as is, impossible without knowing what the problems are......

So heres a link to the fsm, pay very close attention to the diagnostics/troubleshooting section, pull your code(s) and get back to us with some real info, and we'll go from there.
