Kinda Odd Looking?

Another ebay find. I'd say it's a pretty interesting route to take with a 4Runner, but I think it looks kind of wierd. Someone put a decent amount of money into the suspension, only to trade it in at a dealership, they probably didn't get much for it.

hahah, agree, what tires are they? KM 1/2...they look like lame versions of the KM2 but older than the regular m/ts
and i've always hated those A/R wheels, they look like fat fingers...
besides that wheel tire set up
its a nice truck. looks well done and the interior is hella nice

I think that it looks kind of nice...I want if that was done by Trails Less Traveled? Since it is now 2WD (says no front driveshaft and obviously no front axles) did they put 2WD spindles upfront? thought that you could not just pull the front axles out with out some kind of bearing problems...

And is this duct tape on the steering joint or is the rubber melted a little?

Basically with the cut tires and all it looks on the surface to have been done right...dunno though hard to say with out seeing it in person. I will watch this auction just to see what it goes for....

the tires look like some older bf mudterrains that have been siped like crazy if you squint you can kinda see the old tire lol and yeah too bad about the 2wd part. the truck looks like it was modded in the late 90s and hasnt been touched since

Yeah I didn't notice it's only 2wd, the auction says 4x4.

It would look alot better if those rear wheels were covered up to match the front, don't know how you'd do that though? Those front fenders must be custom.

thats not ducttape, its the rear upper suspension arm on the drivers side.

is it just me or does it not have an engine fan? I think if it had more rear height it would look sick.

Looks like a home fab'd suspension kit. 4wd spindles for sure (6 lug) It would be pretty easy to get it back to a 4wd with some T100/Tundra CVs.

the tough thing would be relocating the shocks because right now they are mounted right where the cv's need to go. i bet it could all be fabbed up to work though with a little creativity.

Swap in a super charged 3.4, get rid of those ugly wheels and it would make a pretty sweet dune jumper/desert racer.
