Kill Switch button

I'm looking for a good button switch to use as a kill switch for my fuel pump. I wanna hide it under the carpet in my truck and I feel like a button would be more stealth then those other switches. Something I can just tap with my foot to allow my fuel pump to run.

Edit: I know how to install, just looking for hardware suggestions.

Any ideas or suggestions?

If this is for theft deterrent, then you could wire a on/ff switch inline with the clutch start safety switch. Hide the switch within reach under the dash. I have this on my 86 truck.

There are remote control kill switches for a battery you could use in a fuel pump as well.

Saw a Youtube video where they hid a small on/off push button inside the shifter boot in the upper corner on the driver's side at the bottom. Good idea but i already installed mine under the dash.

Perko makes a switch that may work. https://www.westmarine.com/perko-pus...ch-225263.html. It would be a bummer to put it somewhere you'd hit it accidentally. Another way to go would be a remote control relay. https://www.gamainc.com/product/rfr12v1c/. The nice thing about using a relay is that when in secure mode you could send the power that would be going to the fuel pump to an alarm instead. But the remote control relay will draw a little power, so if the truck is sitting for long periods of time you'd want a kill switch for the relay so it doesn't burn your battery up.
