just ordered the Sunwest automotive long block
hey all just reporting in... i just recieved my SUNWEST automotive Supreme long block with rv cam and new head bored .20 over and new everything.. stay tuned will be installed this weekend hopefully

Obviuosly given the choice we would all use oem gaskets...
But Im sure your motor is fine. They rebuild motors. They know what they are doing.

i was just looking it over all the gaskets are victor...they seem to have good words associated with them. the supreme engine with rv cam and shaved head ran me 1438+shipping to texas but it looks awesome

It was for someone else. It had a hard start for several months before it finally popped. Most of these rebuild shops use low end cheap gaskets. And for the most part its okay. But ask for an oem headgasket. It should only be a few extra bucks for parts. That motor now has close to 40k on it without a problem.
