Just fitted 17x9's and 315/75/R17 (35x12.5) MTZ's to my 2nd Gen

Got my new rims and tyres yesterday.....and am stoked with how they look....

They are 17x9 Brute B201 wheels with 315/75/R17 (35x12.5) Mickey Thomson MTZ's.

The turck is handling heaps better with the less offset rims (my old 15x10's had a huge offset) and steering is much more pricise. But it doesn't look anywhere near as wide as it used to....which will keep the cops off my back anyway. I like the MTZ's so far too, not too noisy, and handle well so far.

Anyway, heres some pics.

Hmmm....plenty of room to upgrade the brakes now 8)

Very nice stance! I like you V8 side emblem too. I bet that gets you some confused looks.

Yeah, am really happy that I went with the 35's...I think 33's would have looked wrong on the 17" rims...just not enough side profile.

Now I've just got some minor trimming to do in the front, as they are scrubbing on full lock, and am getting a custom rear bar made soon, which will be shaped right to stop the scrubbing in the rear. Then got to source some 4.88's, as I hate the gearing with the 35s.

and thanks for all the other comments guys
