ok I did check the ohms on my tps and with a little adjustment, now I dont have the problem any more. so maybe tomorrow ill take the truck back to do the smog check so wish me luck guys,

 

Did you say that the timing was set too?

OK NP, I failed smog, reset timing, a new cat, and i was good to go. Its a NH truck so commie smog tests are new to me.

 

ok guys a little update. bought a timing light gun, set the timing at the 10 degree mark and I just drop it to have it smog againg....so wish me luck guys....

 

IT PASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!......I am soo happy, now I can drive it without getting worry of getting pull over....thank you guys for your help...

AWESOME! I'm stocked for you that your project has gotten on the road legally. A bonus that you didn't have to buy a TPS or TB complete. These trucks are pretty forgiving. With minimal up keep they will continue to pass smog year after year.
