and my Surf is a surf before anyone says something about the spare tire cover...at least thats what the VIN numbers tell me, it is a SURF, so i guess the previous owner must have replaced a crap load of stuff on it...i wonder why?

well, mines not a beater...yet, i plan on running it till the engine stops, regardless of what falls off of the body between now and then, but since i just now passed 112,000miles, it might take a while.

I'm not a fan of chrome, either.
But ease up on the dude, he's proud of his rig.
I have to say I'm not real sure about the 'Yota hood ornament. But that's just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions....

yes i do, its only temp. until i can get my funds for a fiberglass hood with scoop for the intercooler, TOYOTA puts them on all the land cruisers down here, and for $10us how could i pass.
and as for the chrome, dont much like it my self, going to get a ARB front bumper, All-Pro sliders and a Big Country rear bumper and contect them with some strong tubing so im all protected for the wheel wells.

Dude I would take that Toyota hood ornament off and mount in on a ring or drape it off a necklace, that is FIRE! Nice looking piece, none the less.
