Just purchased a 1994 Toyota pickup 5 speed 4x4. 1200 bucks. 70k on motor 180k on body! Was my original truck from high school. Sold it to a buddy and he ran it for a woods truck and has sat for five years. He said it wouldn’t start . Got it home today and the fuel pump pigtail was frayed. I fixed it and started right up. Frame is solid but body is a little rough. Need a pulley for it as well believe it’s a tensioner.
Plan on cleaning it up some. Need to find a front driver side fender corner lights and a tailgate. Bed is a little dented but that can come later. After that going to lift it and put some 33s on her.
Also need a trim piece that goes above the dash it’s broke and bugs the heck out of me lol.

Your idea of a "trim piece" and mine appear to be a bit different. You need a new dash pad, I'm too lazy to dig out the specific part name and part number.
There are two Toyota dismantlers in Denver, Yota yard and Yota Jim's (Jim and his ex wife) both will ship parts just about anywhere and take online payments..
I also needed that pieceforthe dash. After I got it on,it made a huge difference in the appearance of the trucks interior. Runs about 90bucks for a new one. Cluster visor is what I believe it’s called.

Well a lot has changed since I bought this gem.
first thing I did was bought some LED headlights...
Next I ended up finding another truck for 200 bucks that had a blown motor but good frame.I was able to swap Tires and Wheels, front fenders, driver side door and the bed that needed some TLC. Fixed both cab corners, rocker panels and fixed the rust on the floor. Truck is rust free now !!! After doing all this I prob could of just swapped the motor into the other truck but I already ordered the cab corners and rockers and cut them out all before I found the other truck lol. I ended up raptor lining it as well. After all that, this is how it sits.
I plan on doing a 0m617 diesel swap next just searching for parts as we speak and the 22re is going to go in the other truck for my pops to run around in the woods. After the diesel swap a SAS and rewear will be done. Thats my goals for now driver side passenger side the bed that needed a little love patched and light body filler before sanding all sanded down. went a little overboard for raptor liner but whatever how it sits at the moment. needs to be touched up on a few spots but overall im happy! what the other rig looks like with the blown motor... for now this will eventually get a motor and new fenders. my pops wants a woods truck

Behind and saved the motor to try to find a clean car but can’t. 400 bucks is a perfect price for me! Now to start collection other parts for the swap as well as my SAS!

I hate to admit it, but my ride in highschool, other than a lovely young lady I dated most of highschool, was a Vespa Moped. Not a great motor, but only cost me $100.00. I could even push it up to 30 MPH, right after a good tune up. Downhill, with a moderate tailwind. NOT easy to take girls out on, though.
My father was nice enough to let me use his 57 Chevrolet stepside sometimes. Talk about a chick-magnet. NOT!
I would have loved to drive his Model A Coup Special (2 spare tires, one on each side, vice just one on the Coup), but he stored it in the garage. For 20 years.
Well I ended up picking up this OM617 with 118k on it. It’s pretty clean! Gonna order the adapter plate and oil pan tonight . Start gathering all the parts for the swap
