Glad to hear you figured your problem out. Wouldn't you know I drove mine the other day and I was getting a stumble in every gear around 2000 rpm. It wasn't doing it the other day so I knew something came loose, etc under the hood. While looking around I noticed one of the wires going to the green plug under the intake manifold (this is a coolant sensor for the ECU) was broken. Once I fixed that wire it ran fine again. Something to look at for anybody else that stumbles across this thread.

Ha! I put 4 years in at Autobone and I would never let my worst enemy have a set of after-market wires like yours you should think about getting a Genuine Toyota wire set. There is no comparison.

I run the top of the line wires in all of my vehicles (including my turbo Typhoon and my turbo Omni), and this is the first problem I've ever had with them. Lifetime warranty means I can change them out once a year if I feel like it

I wound up having the same problem, ran like crap at lower RPM's but better at higher range, I got home after dark. So went to look under hood w/ flashlight. #4 was arching from top of boot to head. Finally cut those custom wire set to length.

So all this was fixed by replacing bad plug wires? OEM on plug wires...always.
