so my truck is having an issue starting, when i turn the key sometimes it will just click and nothing will happen, but it doesnt happen all the time so i know its not the battery, i also replaced the terminals and connections on the battery so i know its not that either, so im thinking it is something wrong with the starter.

so my question is what could it be that will cause an intermittant starting issue? Am i right to think it is the starter? and is it something i could fix myself or should i just replace the whole thing?

 

it's your starter. If you know how to rebuild them you can, otherwise take it to a electrical shop and have it rebuilt for 25 bucks.
