interior sun roof cover ?.

My 86 4Runner has a sun roof, did they come with an interior cover that covered the sun roof ?. The sun roof cover on the 90-95 4Runners is buildt into the head liner and slides back when you want to use the sun roof. So was there ever a cover made for the 85-88 4Runners ?, if so, were could i find one ?.

yes, there is a seperate cover that came with them. There are 2 clips to the front of the sunroof, and a circular piece that comes out from one of the two screws holding the lock in place. Check the interior pics thread, thought I saw one on there. I had one, pretty sure I gave it to my little bro. Good luck finding one of those.

idk if im asking to much, ive never seen one like it. for sale and similar interior pieces for different vehicles are roughly 75-100 bucks. the dash pads for our trucks are even an arm and a leg..

i was thinking 65 plus shipping. (as i have never seen one on here before, well i did once, but he wanted 100!)

i think thats fair... what do you guys think??

Car-part.com has some. Prolly get it cheaper buying off a member tho.

just make one out of lexan from Home Depot and paint it whatever color you want, use door edge guard to make the edges nice

I'd tint my sunroof if I was lucky enough to have one. That way I wouldn't have to deal with removing something that one of my passengers would probably step on and it would still let in light (filtered).

I'd never seen one either till I happened across one at my local PickNPull. I nabbed it. Installed it. Don't remember the price.

I think that the 1989-95 trucks use the same cover as the previous generation 4Runners.

Here's the cover in my '93 SR5 truck.

aww, im so jealous. I wish I had one of those covers! Ive never even seen one in person before.

I want one so damn bad. Its very annoying when your rooftop lights shine in through the sunroof!
