interesting discovery

I went out to really clean the truck today and made a nice little discovery. First off I must say that I thought myself rather smart for pulling the interior panels off of the bed to clean out the mouse nests and further prevent rust. I'm also going to have that area Rhino lined to stop the rust all together. Well I've got the seats pulled forward so I can remove the back deck for carpet shampoo and complete cleaning when I noticed the factory jack in the factory location, also found the long bar for the spare mounted under there. Then under the passenger seat I found a green vinyl pouch with the jack handle and lug wrench in it. NICE FIND, I thought, and all of the pieces in factory condition. I know it sounds odd but I like my vehicles to look as factory stock (to include the am/fm cassette deck) as possible. It's the upgrades to the drivetrain that make it "stand out" on the trails.

Just wanted to share.

Oh and on that note do any of you know of a source for the little black "rings" that go around the front hubs? I went to Discount and had them mount a 31 for fit test and look and they lost the darn ring. Of course I didn't notice it until a week later and by that time it was gone.

Laters cats!!

lawl...

that was the 1st thing to go on my truck when I got it; drilled the spot welds out and removed the braket, then sealed up the holes; all to make room for the sub boxes... and the stero is long been gone now, lol. I just carry my 2 1/2 ton floor jack and a 4 way in the tool box with me now

I think that's it. It is that little black one that goes around the aisin (spelling?) hub on the front end.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but can someone tell me how to get my rear seats up? The little flaps or whatever I'm supposed to pull have sunk down into the unfindable reaches of the seats.
