Installing Flowmaster Muffler '94 PU

Hi I have a 1994 Toyota PU 4x4 V6 and I recently got a flowmaster 50 series muffler but have not installed it on the truck. Does anyone know how hard it would be for me to install this muffler? I have installed exhaust systems on cars but this did not require welding or anything, it was just a bolt on cat-back exhaust. Would it be possible to just cut out the old muffler and use Ubolts and the other piece and bolt it together really tight. I ask because I currently do not have enough funds inorder to have the exhaust installed at a shop. Any links or pictures of a muffler that has just been put in would be really helpful. Thanks, Ryan

it cost me $70 dollars to have all new 2-1/4 pipe from the cat back to a flowmaster delta 40 ...its going to be alot of welding to make the 1-3/4 pipe fit a new muffler and it wont do much for power as the stock pipe is too small

let me echo that. $70 is on the inexpensive side, but if all you want is the muffler hung behind the cat w/2.25 and a turn down you should be able to get it done right for about that....

i put the 50 and 2.25 on mine last summer and from cat back and it only cost me $75. shop around.
can you just hang it? sure, with two reducers and clamps and some jerry rig to the hangers. but the cost will probably be 20-30 and like elton said, no increase in power. so why do it now? you won't be satisfied, wait till you have the coin.
