Inspection?

I’m new to the 4runner scene and I’m looking to buy a 94 SR5. Is there anything I should specifically be looking for when I go check it out?
Here are the Specs I know of:
3.0L mated to the 5 speed 4x4
4.56 Gearing, LSD in the rear
2.5in suspension lift
3in body lift (supposedly body mounts are shot so probably getting removed if I buy it)
Its running on 35’s
Supposed Steering Play (not bad?)
Bypassed Heater core
Power steering leak of some variety

Any info or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

It's a 30 year old truck that has been modified and flogged. Bargan accordingly.

What mileage has it run??? Is it rusted in the slightest??

If you cannot do the work required to repair and restore it yourself, it will not be a very economical proposition.

I got him down to 6250 prior to seeing the truck.
He said its Box C Mileage (not sure what that means) and that the odo says 170k, not rusted to my knowledge but I havent gone out to look at it yet.

Seems pricey, especially for one that's been modified. But I have no idea where your'e located.
Personally I'd search out a bone stock one and if changes are needed to suit my needs, so be it.
When you buy someone else's modified project you spend quite a bit of money undoing what they did, and more often than not, their mods weren't all that well done, anyway.

3" body lift on these trucks is questionable at best, and i'd certainly be wondering why the heater core is bypassed, was it leaking? post some pics.

I had to google, and it could very from state to state, but it seems "box C" means the reading on the odometer isn't the true miles.

Alright so I ended up buying it, overall good condition, I’ll post some pics later. On my way home from buying it I had the body mount ground directly off the negative terminal break. It’s because there’s a random yellow top optima (previous owner &#129318 and so it’s stretched but I want to know what gauge wire that ground has to be. Currently rigging together a 6g wire to use but could I use a 10g instead?

10 is too small, 6 is the norm(I think). I prefer 4.

Welding cable works great. I agree 10 is too small. I'd get 4-6 like Discombobulated recommended. Getting the right size lugs (regarding bolt hole) isn't always easy, at least at the welding store. I think i ordered mine online.
