Injector connectors broke

Started tearing down my 89 pickup v6 cause of blown headgasket and almost every injector connector broke. is there a way to secure them on or am I in need of another harness. Also a guy at work has 3vze from a four runner, he will sell me for $500 thinking about just swaping the motor and being done with it. trans may come with it, not sure though. there any difference between pickup and four runner. both are 4x4 and auto transInjector connectors broke-img_2440.jpg

That one doesn't look broke to me. But you can replace them, if that's what you desire. Saves tracking down a new wiring harness, or swapping the entire motor. Not to mention being WAY cheaper than either.

Replacing old fuel injector connectors with new connectors, terminals, and seals 3VZE

I assume you mean the lock tabs broke, and the connector itself is "okay." You can just use a zip tie to hold the connector in place even though the lock tab is gone.

Obviously, replacing the connector (follow the link above) is a superior solution, but the zip tie has worked for me for a very long time.
