yea a friend of mine burried his 88 f150 on 35s in the snow so me and my other friend hoped in his bone stock 83 yote with bald buckshot mudders and pulled him out like it was nothing.. then passed him on the highway (yes i did say pass.. on a highway with a 83.. that also might i add had 320k...on the original motor lol) ... i guess it comes back to that whole formula toy motto.. "doing more with less"

idk how true it is. im a HUGE nerd. played videogames almost all of my childhood. spent more time in computer class than all of my other classes combined in high school. watch tv for hours every day. cant be at home without being on my computer. and i still have enough of a brain left to drive a yota. oh and that common sense stuff i gots that too

Mine doesn't leak a drop of anything, and it has 300K km, been in 6 accidents, a tip-over, and the abuse of at least 2 first-time 4x4 early-twenties male owners.

I have heard more bad than good about that restore stuff. I would try giving it a good flush. Get some engine flush and run it through the old girl. You will be amazed at the crap that comes out sometimes. might get some gunk out of the rings and make them work a bit better.
